CHAPTER 1
Sleep-over
James was over at Molly's house for a sleepover they were just having tea when Molly's parents burst in "we've just had a call from Mr Jenkins saying Marcy the cow is very ill we've got to go immediately!" "Can we come?" said James and Molly together. "Yes please," said Mary "we would like another 2 pairs of hands." They all piled into the car and set off! It turned out to be that Marcy was just pregnant. James and Molly said that they would like to walk around a bit. So that isjust what they did. They also checked the lions were all right. Then they went back to Molly's house and had supper and went to bed.
CHAPTER 2
Disaster
Next day they got up very early and the first thing they did was check on the lions and to see that the newly made mother and her 7 cubs were okay. The mother was not. The children rushed back to Cattle Prattle where Dennis and Mary were having breakfast. "Mum, dad the new lion mother is badly hurt come quick" said Molly. "O.K. we'll be there right there!" said Dennis. They all got up and ran straight to the lions. When Mary saw how badly the lion was hurt she said to Dennis "Go straight back home and get the van, some water and a blanket, please." Off Dennis rushed.

When Dennis came back Mary revealed that The lion mother had a broken leg. "
now" said Mary "lets try and move her to the van and into it." "Won't she put up a fight" asked Molly " no she is to weak."said Mary. When they got her into the van they drove straight home. At Cattle Prattle Mary quickly got to work. "Molly go and get me a trolley." she said "Take it up the drive next to the back of the van I'll heave her onto it. It'll be easier than carrying her."

Chapter 4
x-ray machine
Mary pushed the lion mother into the x-ray room. After the x-ray Mary confirmed that lion mother did indeed have a broken leg. " James go and get another bucket of water please take it to the normal place, Molly get more clean bandages, Dennis go and get the place ready and I,ll push lion mother." said Mary. At the place Mary got James to take off the dirty bandage. "Mum" said Molly "you rub some water on her leg ,James you put on the next bandage on, dad you put the cast on." "now, I'll get her to drink and we'll put her to sleep." said Dennis.
