Eragon-the film

title: Eragon

Plot: Eragon finds a dragon egg and sets off on a marvellous journey to the opposers of Galbatorix's reign

closeness to book: When I watched the film I remembered huge great chunks of the book.
However they missed out on a lot.

good points: exciting and made me jump out my seat a couple of times. The shade's servants are good

bad points: relied too much on special effects. shade's makeup could be better. dragon scales bad. could make brom's chrystal mound much better

coments: if the film makers had spent longer on it they could have made it much better.

peter pan in scarlet

The magnificent sequel to Peter Pan and Wendy written by Geraldine McCaughrean for an older age group.

The Lost boys are grown ups and have been having nightmares about Neverland finally Wendy finds a fairy and transports them to Neverland.
Peter Pan has changed though.

comments: good, gripping, funny and in places almost frightening. A great read
